Anyone have a good load worked up for aa Knight Elite .50 cal.?

Every one of them is different. But with my elite, I have several.

My old time always works 95gr pyrodex ffg 240gr XTP works great and repeatable.

But last year, I got 3 50gr pellets 777 and 250gr barnes expander with a subbase shooting 2MOA.

But I hate pellets, so I bought a powerstem breech plug. I not meet the accuracy of the pellets but with 125gr of loose 777 ffg with the 250gr barnes.

With >1900fps loads, I never could get PR bullets to shoot. Tried different ones. Never could get SST's to shoot 250gr and 300gr. Only hornady bullet that worked for me with heavy loads was 250gr XTP .45 cal magnum with harvester sabot.

Anybody can get low powered loads to work, but you have to put in your homework to find one that works at heavy loads.

250 gr Barnes, 120 gr of T7 2f was my load last year. Others have gotten the 200 gr SST/SW to shoot well with 100 to 125 gr of T7.

I have been shooting the same load that I use in my Extreme. I shoot 130 gr Pyrodex pellets and 250 gr Barnes Expanders. I have tried 250 gr SST's butwent back to theExpanders for hunting.
