Default Rear Sight - holes

Posting this as new thread as thought perhaps it got lost in earlier one. Removed rear sight completely on Pursuit LT to accomodate Bushnell scope. Now left with screw holes where sight was. Have an email in to Traditions to see if they can provide proper screws to fill the holes. Maybe local gunsmith could provide as well? or just cover holes with? as short term fix? Any Pursuit owners who encountered this?

All feedback appreciated.

Randy, I hate to admit this but I sometimes say the heck with it and use the gun as is. I just make sure the holes get the same cleaning and oil as the other parts until I find some screws. If I ever find them.

Randy a gunsmith or even most sporting good store's should have something to fill the sight taps on your ML. If you bought the scope from a store try them first, they generally don't charge for such small items if you purchased the scope from them...either way should be able to find something locally.

I am not sure if you live in Winnipeg or near it, but SIR or Wholesale should be able to hook you up. Just make sure you take the gun with you as their are different sizes, colours, etc.

Best of luck!

Randy I am not sure if this will help you but I removed the sights off of my T/C omega andbought "slave screws" from aT/C dealerfor about $3.00. They may not fit your traditions but it could be worth a shot.
