RE: Full house tonight!!
John in New Hampshire and I shoot a 50 cal Encore.
First bow, then ML then rifle and then bow again....that's what I'm thinking for this season.
Just getting back to deer hunting, as I've been spending lots of time with my dogs chasing birds the last several years.
Looking forward to it.
Pre-season scouting has been incredible. A spot I haven't hunted in 10 years is gonna be a lot of fun.
Sign everywhere in all the right places.
Snuck up on 2 does and watched 'em munchin' for 30 minutes just the other day.
Down into ravine (small) up the other side to a pile of boulders and what a spot to watch from. One of them walked up to spittin' distance from me. Its tough having a great shot and no go---but man that sure gives confidence in the spot.
I've got it all mapped out.
Four deer tags this season---yessir.
If I can figure out how, I'll post a fun map.
