I was thinking of getting one but not sure if they would be suitable for a lefty.

No!! And No they do not make a left handed one. If you look at the design of an Encore stock though you will see it is a thumbhole with the top removed. That gun fits us lefties fine try one if you can or at least shoulder one at your local gun shot.
