Im from the eastern Ontario Western Quebec region and there have been lots of sightings of eastern cougars hanging around farms in the area

I've seen one here in Kansas. But there are very very very few around. There was a wild one hit on the interstate a couple years ago just about 7-8 into the state of Missouri. Other than that, that's been the only real confirmed mountian lion. Most people seem to mistake them as other things. But being experienced as I am, I know the difference.
