Default Wyoming Antelope

I'm in the process of picking a unit to draw for antelope, but know little to no information about the area. I was looking into the South-east or Central-East Areas of Wyoming since it's closer to Kansas. I'm planning on hunting the "walk in areas". Has anyone ever hunted these areas? I have been comparing the draw odds with the number of tags available and amount of WIHA land available to help choose the right unit. I was just looking to see if you have any info or reccommendations. Thanks.

Sorry I hunt the south west! I think the Red desert is in the south east. It is supposed to be good, but the deer and elk have been found to have CWD. ON the bright side pronghorn antelope are not able to contract CWD due to their different genus.

northeast wyoming is pretty good. i think area 7 here is about 78% for drawing a tag, with plenty of public land, and plenty of goats. you will see other hunters however, but we get mature animals every year.
hope this helps, and if ya need any additional info, let me know

Try any of the areas west of Saratoga, I like 52 but check the draw odds. Get a copy of Delorme wyo Atlas it has all the public land marked on it. there is good access all the way to Rock Springs. Area 35 north of Cheyenne will have left over tags but you will have to mainly hunt Walk-in and small state sections.

Area 47 is good and so is area 63 if you can get drawn. I have bagged nice Antelope in each. Last year put in for an area that only gave out 14 non resident tags and got drawn and bagged a 14 incher first 15 minutes first day. I put in for this unit again.

Thanks for the info guys... Ever been around Fort Laramie and unit 11 area? It's close to me, odds are 100%, good amount of WIHA and a lot of tags provided.
