I saw 41 elk this evening and not one had head gear! A herd on 32 came into a little clearing on the ridge I was glassing off of yesterday, just my luck. As I was working out of the woods I bumped a herd, some cow calling stopped their flight and they started calling back. I got my crosshairs on 9 of them all cows. I'm sure it was the same herd that held a 6x6 yesterday but I couldn't find him. I suppose there was a bull or two somewhere in the mix but I couldn't find him.

Thats crazy there had to be a bull, he was just hiding. Good luck and hopefuly that 6x6 will be back soon

that more deer then I been seein

Murphy's law in practice Itook my son out for mule deer and saw one deer(a four point which he got), then 8 more the next morning. When we packed up to head home and got on the highway there were about 200 head of elk on the ridge beside hwy95. There were about 25 bulls, some big boys in there to. and i dont know anyone w/ a tag this year[:@]
