Living here in northern Ontario, viewing the lights seems to be something we take for granted and I've sorta figured that everyone's seen them at one time or another. However, most spectacular displays occur in the winter but I've seen some great shows in the summer and fall months as well. You just gotta go to bed a bit later. Good luck on the hunt and the lights.

I was hunting in Northern Sask. a few years back. It was pretty late at night about midnight when I heard a hugh flock of Geese come in on the lake. I went outside the cabin to see if I could see anything of them and there was a northern lights show such as I had never seen. The picture of those lights and the sound of the geese was burned into my memory forever. The next morning the Geese were long gone but I got a really nice bear that day. What a memory. We finshed the week with some of the best Northern pike fishing I have ever seen. We do see the northern lights here in North Dakota from time to time. Good luck to you on your hunt.
