I gotcha. It just seemd a little funny. I enjoyed your post. I will be hunting 3rd rifle season this year, and I hunt in a similiar area, so the info was great. I am new to hunting in Colorado this is only my second year of Elk hunting here, although I have lived here for 10 years. I've pretty much just been hunting pheasants in Nebraska.

What unit are you hunting in? Maybe I can shed some light on a specific area if you give me something to work with. Tried to send you a PM but couldn't. I'll be in 12, 23 and 24 area for the 2nd combined. Hopefully the elk and mulies will cooperate with our little party. Good luck.
