I still can't hardly believe it, but I drew one of two, any elk tags for area 58 just south of Cody. Does anyone have any advice or experience in that area? Thanks for the help!

Hey congrats on the draw. Do you have horses if not dust off your hiking boots. This area is alot of privat land. The Hodoo Ranch allows access but its walk or horse back from parking areas. To hunt on it you will need a permision slip. Last year you had to get them at the Game and Fish office on certain days. For more info on this I would get a hold of the G&F in Cody about the Walk in Area for the Hodoo Ranch. If you need any more help let me know, my work takes me up on the ranch just about every day.
