Just wondering how many of you guys use shooting sticks for big game hunting. If you do carry them, how often are they used? In most shooting situations can an improvised rest be found, or is it better to carry shooting sticks just in case? For you guys that do carry them and use them what type is best? Bipod? Mono? Tripod?
Throw in a brand name also.
Thanks

A friend has Stoney Point a mono-pod I tried to use it once but did not like its stabliity.
I have a Stoney Point bi-pod, and it works well, and it is pretty stable.
I think the Stoney Point tri-pod would be the most stable.
Good luck.
