So I call for all wolf topics to be dropped and no longer discussed. It's a waste of time at this point

Your trying to make me angry and it's not working. People here will not listen to reasonable arguments, ignore logical examples and basically do everything that makes a discussion not function properly. This is why we have circular arguments in every topic.
If anyone here is posting in a logical manner and not letting emotion cloud their thinking, that would be me.
This topic has run it's course, I've presented (in three different topics) as much logic and reasoning as I can muster without spending an inordinate amount of time on convincing people I don't know and don't care about.

Inane comments like yours let me know that what I'm saying is at least having some effect.
It's like "My dad can beat up your dad so maah".
I'm glad you somehow know: 1. how old I am 2. where I live 3. where i have been living.
Pretty impressive, what's the winning lottery numbers for tonight?

BrutalAttack I will only say this. I don't know where in Idaho you live but if you are ever in Salmon Idaho I dare you to go into a public place and proclaim your beliefs about wolves. Just let me know when you are going, so I can bring my video camera!

YELLOW PINE IDAHO???>.lol.. that is at the border of the frank church wilderness area..
hey brutal... my grandpa is a wildlife biologist for the idaho fish and game.. his studies have informed me to what the real problem with wolves are... its common fact that wolves eat right?? the real problem with wolves are, that they are (THRILL KILLERS) When the opportunity arrives... just in malad, idaho area most of the deer that died during the winter werent winter kill..all the radio collered deer that they are tracking that do die are found with wolf tracks near by and most of the meat is intact with the carcass. the real
problem with wolves is thay they follow mt. lions and wait till a kittie downs a deer or elk.
(an adult mt lion can whip a bear) i have footage of a grizzly bear running from a mt lion after they crossed paths and the kittie got some slashes in!! AFTER a mt lion downs an animal , a pack of wolves will scare of the kittie forcing the kittie to kill yet another animal to feed itself..more and more boologists are finding mt lion tracks and then finding wolf tracks where the wolves have followed the kittie to ambush the mt lion kill..WOLVES DESTOY ECONOMIES, ESPECIALLY IN RURAL TOWNS~~~~
I CANNOT WAIT (1 MORE YEAR) YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DESTROY WOLVES WITH YOUR HUNTING RIFLE IN THE STATE OF IDAHO.
I SAY WE LAY OFF COYOTES FOR AWHILE AND BLAST WOLVES...ANYBODY RECOMMEND A TAXIDERMIST FOR STUFFED WOLVES..LOL.
I AM GONNA TRY OUT MY NEW .204 RUGER ON A BIG BAD WOLF.. AS AN ACT OF DEFIENCE I WILL SEND YOU THE PELT (FREE OF CHARGE)..REMEMBER HUNTERS..THE FISH AND GAME DEPARTMENTS ARENT THERE FOR YOUR BEST INTERESTS THEY ARE ONLY THERE FOR THE ANIMALS BEST INTEREST BUT YET THEY WILL GLADLY TAKE YOUR MONEY..LOL......

Blame it on Politics, some southern politico "scientist" doesn't like the term "Predator" and the whole deal turns sour. Get real. Accept the plan and go on with your life. OR, believe Henny Penny and wear a helmet.

Man, do we supply the anti with ammo. Hell for all I know some of the pro Kill Them All Camp are card carrying members of PETA. Thats the beauty of the web. This discussion has took the Big Game forum over and I think I`ll spend my time elsewhere from now on.

IMHO, the wolf discussion has not taken over this forum, rather, there is simply a lack of other discussion points being put forth that captures anyone's interest, thus the wolf thread "bump" to the top more frequently than the boring stuff. [With the exception of the "hunting contest" thread which is artificially "locked" in first place].
One might try originating some "good stuff" threads or simply not open any one of the four "wolf threads".
As a whole, the overall main forum page is dominated by bowhunting first and deer hunting second, and BigGameHunting way, way down the list (check the numbers of the forum entry page). This probably reflects the cross-section of North American hunters, most of whom never make it out of the local game patch or ever sleep away from home. If one likes a higher volume of true Big Game discussion, then just visit AccurateReloading.com (de-emphasis on deer and bowhunting). BTW, buckle your chin strap.
