The best one is the one you like the best, they all have different pros and cons.

I've shot them all. I like the weatherby .300 mag. the best. Butit took some ammo trial and error to get the perfect load. i'm not sure there is the best out there. if you try different grain loads and brands you'll find they all dont shoot the same. each gun will have a favorite shell they shoot the best. I'm sure you can get any ol' .300. test a bunch of different ammo. and after finding the rounds that shoot the best for that gun. you'll be happy w/ the results. I have.
