Good Luck to you too. I think I might carry my bow with me on my elk hunt. I can use my rifle, but if I can get close enough, I would love to attempt my shot with my bow. My friend hunted around Deadwood and said they saw 20-30 bulls a day, but never got close enough for a clear shot on one. Looks like I was just in the wrong place. Oh well.

Going with the bow for Elk in Saskatchewan, August 29th-Sept 6. If that don' t pan out I will be heading back during rifle for bulls only season starting Sept. 15 thru 27th for a few weekend sessions during peak rut.

I' ll be in Colorado unit 77 for the 1st rifle season. Really looking forward to it. Good hunting to one and all . Dusty Dog [:-].
