I will be hunting elk in alberta as usual this fall.The season opens on september 17 which is right around the peak of the rut here.

I' ll be following Elknut in the woods when he don' t know it and then shoot the bull that he' s been scouting,[&:] but when I don' t do that I' ll be in the state next to him bowhunting them dureing the rut starting in Sept. here in NW Montana.;) Bobby

I' ll be hunting unit 24, that' s not to far from you. I' d say one hour and 15mins. away. Man we may be going after the same bulls,LOL. Luck to you.
