Husqvarna makes more than just chainsaws! I have a Husqvarna weed eater in a 30-30 cal. I just don't like to use it for elk hunting because it takes me too long to change the string between shots.

Back in the day Husky made one of the best Mauser commercial sporters on the market.

.54 hawken with 430 grain maxi ball. Elk are fairly easy to get within 100yds or so, no need for long range shooting.

I have a Ruger No 1 300win mag for elk and everything else. Before that was my 270 win but it got stolen and it killed a ton of elk too. My elk rifle is sleek and sexy and very viscious. Yes I'm truly in love with my rifle. LOL

Can I count all of the ones Ive killed elk with? Right now it alost just depends on what day of the week it is as to which one I pack. I have a remington 700 257 stw, a browning x bolt 270 wsm, 2 30-06s and 3 different 300 win mags to choose from.
