Elk have 32 teeth including the " ivories" so prized by hunters. These are not real ivory, instead incisiform canine teeth or better known by the terms of " whistlers" " buglers" and elk teeth. These two teeth are located in the forward portion of the upper jaw, one on each side.

How are the ivorys differnt from the other teeth? size only? all are the exact same componds& matterials etc? Like its weird some horns are hair eh?
calicum& bone matter& antlers & teeth&... how long for a antalopes horn to turn to minerals & stone... laying on the ground in the badlands of nowhere?
Wonder if they had ( prob a lill less)3 ton elk with tusks[
], in the mastadom? woolly mammoth periods?
I would need a calibur upgrade for them i think .

Yeah, they' re ivory. The two eye teeth are remnants from their ancestors, big a$$ dinasour wapiti. They are where tusks are on an elephant. It is very light, and can be polished up to make fine jewlery. Don' t feel like teeth at all. Greenhorns.

I know they polish up real nice if you carry them around in the pocket of your jeans for a long time!
