Well it has snowed ever couple of days and now there is a real storm happening. With bear activity at a standstill there are many annoyed bear hunters in the area. Many have come great distances and spend plenty of cash to hunt bears in my area and aren' t very pleased.

That sucks! However, Manitoba has been having excellent weather for hunting. I dropped a hide at the taxidermist last week and they had received a record number of hides from the outfitters. They were expecting even more tomorrow for the second hunter turn around. Too bad MB doesn' t offer a 2 bear limit like many of the areas in AB.

i had the same problem last year i went hunting in new brunswick and it was lookin to be a good week of hunting when we got there but as the night went on and we all went out for a beer or two and dinner the snow started. as we left there was already 4 inches on the ground and the bear were not moving at all so i am trying my luck this year in quebec

The weather has changed again and it is warm with no snow or rain. Most of the snow is gone and the bears should be on the move again. With the lack of activity for the last few days the bears should be very active and this week should be very productive.
