After looking over 10 bears I went back for a 3rd look at a cinnamon, with the fresh snow, I finally got a look at the #&*!! air under his belly... doh~! ...keep lookin...

Well last night, I went back a favorite salad bar 10 min. before dark and found this guy in a spot I usually pass in the dark on the way out... (gotta like dumb luck) :fight: It was too dark for a shot, but got a couple pics with the infrared on the new camera

How big would you figure?

The picyture quality is not clear enough for an accurate assessment but it appears to have the general shape of a mature bear.

Like stubblejumper said, the picture quality ain' t that great, but looks to be a shooter in my opinion.

Are big boars as habitual as smaller bears? I watched about 30 bears last year and I could set my watch by when most of them would show up at their fav. salad bar.

Looks like a decent bear, how far were you when you took the pic. how big is the rock behind him???
