The " Big Game" (i.e. russian boar and deer of various types) rifle I hunt with most is a Marlin 1895 Outfitter .444 Marlin.
The " Big Game" rifle I shoot most is a Win M70 Featherweight .308 Win
The rifle I shoot the most is a Win M70 VHB in .22-250 Rem
I will have to agree with Elkampmaster that the .338 Win mag is the best North American cartridge, if you plan to hunt griz size animals on down.

add caliber 35
cartridge' s 35 Whelen, .358 Win, 35 Rem
.358 in Browning ' 81
35 Rem in Remington 760gamemaster
35 Whelen in SB2 Handi-Rifle

hope to add the 350 Rem Mag.
either Remington 673 or if I win the lotto custom Rem Custom 7 KS

Its hard to beat 35 caliber rifles

No one comments on the 45/70? This is the coolest one around. I like it because it can take anything. Some call it a 100 yard rifle, but I have made 200 yard shots with it and when they first came out with it in the 1800' s they were taking mile long shots. Big Bullets will travel. Cool gun.
