Looking for a good Drop Camp outfitter for a DIY elk trip to Colorado. Anyone have any good or bad experiences with anyone? Not looking for a trophy just would like a decent chance at a legal bull and to see quite a few elk. More for the experience than the kill. All help would be appreciated.

Used "Poma" outfitters 2 years ago out of Pagosa. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Left us on the hill for 2 days after the hunt because he drove his truck and stock trailer off a cliffand we ended up walking out (5+Miles) I do though recomend the area around Flagg mountain. Good sighn, Took 2 cows and had a shot on a nice 5x6 bull inthe '06 1st rifle season.

Drop me an email via my website at www.colorado-adventures.com. I have some excellent drop camps available in all parts of Colorado, some with extremely high success rates and excellent animals.
