Thank you to those who have read and responded thus far.

I have not yet taken any of the North American sheep as of this point. The only sheep hunt that I have personally been a part of was this Desert Bighorn hunt. I have put it on the list of things to do!

For the question about the gun; it is a Browning Mountain Ti in .300WSM topped with a Leopold VXIII in 4.5X14 I believe.

Just watched Fred Eichler's hunt on Easton Bowhunting this morning where he was Desert Sheep hunting just outside of Loreto, Mexico. This show will give you a good idea of the terrain and the difficulty of this hunt.
