I've always thought that the grand slam was for the four species of North American Bighorn sheep. Rocky Mountain, Dall, Stone, and Desert. Sounds like it would be fun, but sheep hunting is difficult to say the least.

Correct. But not really limited to sheep. It can be anything from Turkey (4)to Sheep (4)to dangerous Bear (3) . The Super Slam is all 27 big game animals in North America. If you want to get the Grand Slam of sheep you'd better win the lottery!

Can you list the 27 animals in the Super Slam? Off the top of my head, I only came up with 15.

I believe American and Rocky Mtn. are the same. Tule elk are regulated pretty hard. Pope and Young don't consider them on their list.

I know B&C's list is a little different from P&Y. I think I saw walrus in there somewhere, on B&C's list. I, also, believe Tule IS on the B&C list.

What TEmbry listed is for P&Y.
