Newfoundland Moose Hunting

RE: Newfoundland Moose Hunting
Try Snowshoe Lake Hunting and Fishing out of Millertown NL. Top shelf guides great food and reasonable prices. I always went for woodland caribou with 100 percent success but there were often other hunters there that were going for moose and had real high suceess.

Millertown is great moose hunting area! I have hunted there a few times when I lived in Newfoundland. Decided to move to Alberta for work, but there is even better hunting here in Alberta. But, there is no place like home!
Good luck and have fun!

Yah, we had medium size bull the first tripand a huge cow the next.
I grew up on the eastern pennisula, so it is long trip tto Millertown, when the hunting is just a good or better right behind my house. So I started putting my draw in for areas closer to home. But I still have friends that go to Millertown and come back with animals!
I strongly suggest you go, the scenary is beatiful and the moose are plenty!!!

Good luck with the search. Several others from this site have hunted with the Hicks family at Snowshoe. If you keep this thread alive I am sure you will get some comments and additional references. I am presently on a western kick for elk but do plan a return to "the Rock" for caribou in a year or two. If you are talking with Ron Hicks tell him Frank from VT says hi.
