.300 Win Mag & .416 Rem Mag. 100gr for prairie rats all the way up to 400gr for the recoil sensitive.

I have someting like 25 boxes of 5mm mag. around, and a left hand 5mm mag. to shoot it in... Back in the day, it was waaaaaaaay superior to the 22 win. mag. on bigger animials. (i used both at the same time) These days, you have lots of choises in 22 win. mag. ammo, sooooo....

I have to admit, i sure did like my 5mm waaaay back when...

DM I dont know what the ammo is going for now but if it hasnt went down you could damn near retire on what you have if ya sold it..lol.

I used to see it now and then at gun shows but they are pretty rare even there now. It was a good round.

I'm still in shock that there's such a thing as a .458 RUM!!!!

I mean, how impractical can you get? Unless, you're hunting dinosaurs!
