Which two magnum cartridges would you choose to hunt ALL big game in North America, including dangerous game?
[Note:They haveto have the word "magnum" intheir name to be a magnum.]

300 Remington Ultra Magnum
375 H&H Magnum

Great topic!!!

I like the .270 Wby Mag, but I suppose a .270 WSM would do nearly as well.

Pretty tough to beat a .375 H&H for the heavy rifle.

270 WSM
416 Rem Mag.

That should cover bullet weights from 90 grains to over 400 grains.

257 Weatherby and a .338 Ultra Mag or the 416 Rem Mag.

So, i guess the 416 Rigby, 600 and 700 nitro express aren't big enough to take dangerous game in N.A.??? Yet the 240 Wby. "Magnum" is????

Personally, there's not a bear alive today that i would be afraid of if i had a 7mm Rem. "Magnum" in my hands loaded with 175 grain NP's....

I don't seed a second magnum, as i've already seen what the above 7mm does to big bears as loaded above...

Hmmm, probably plenty big enough and powerful enough, BUT they are not technically magnums which kinda leaves them in the "non-magnum category", sorry, it is just kinda how it is.

I left the option open for choosing two cartridgesas some might want to have one with some "reach and speed"and yet have another with less reach and bit morethump. For those who prefer one, that is fine.
