yes but did you read about his other 2 bear attacks

That's unfortunate it happened to him but it makes you wonder what kind of shot placement he was getting on the first two shots. Not meaning to pass judgement on him as I wasn't there...

also makes you wonder what kind of rifle he was shooting. The paper say's he shot the bear in the head a second time... nothing for nothing but if I were to lay one into a bears skull with my 300 mag it won't be comming back for a fight I guarantee you that.
