Pronghorn in the rain . . . advice!
I didin't have time to do a search, so I apologize if there is a thread out there on this. I am looking for advice on antelope hunting with a bow when the weather is raining. I just got back from western NE and we got rained on for three straight days. Our plan of sitting over water holes where we had seen some goats when scouting went out the window pretty quick (it was sunny and 106 on the scouting trip). I am looking for advice for when the weather gets bad. Do pronghorns still move in rain? I haven't hunted them before so this is all new.
I am heading out again this weekend. It's about five hours away from home and the weather is supposed to be cooler (70's) but dry. My plan is to sit on a hill-top until I see some activity and try to get a pattern established. I have a Double Bull and was thinking of picking up a decoy before the next trip but it may be a little early for the rut.
Thanks in advance for any help. This may be the last weekend I get to go until November so I'm hoping to make it count. I will have three days total to hunt this trip including the holiday.
Thanks

If it dries out and the goats can't get water anywhere else, they will most likely water on the holes every day. There may be more holes to water on now, set up something to whack them out on neighboring water holes so they come to yours.
