I'm working on a DIY hunt for elk in the St Joe National Forest (Panhandle zone) 10-24th Oct 06, anybody hunt it before or close by? I've already bought the licence and tag and I'm working on the topomap's. I'm not big on beingguided, kindalike to do it myself and make my own mistakes and victorys. Anybody have a map with the fire trails in the park, I will check with the National Park Service tomarrow and look for some Satalite imagery. Thanks

Um....are you sure about the area that you are wanting to hunt? As far as I know there is no National Park in the Panhandle. You may be thinking of the St. Joe National Forest which is US Forest Service.

I said St Joe National Forest. The National Parks service, Army Corp of Engineer's survey, Dept of Interior, USGS, and other's all have maps of the area.
