Hey man,
Yes! You are very lucky to be stationed in Mountain Home.! I am from the Boise area, and grew up hunting in the area. However, why unit 33? Being in mountain home you should be hunting unit 43,44, and 48. Anywhere from Anderson Ranch all the way up to Trinity Lakes. I have hunted there for 15 plus years. And always done very well. My dad kills a nice buck every year before 0800 on HIS LUCKY ROCK! And lots of elk too. Hunt up high early in the season. And if you want to shoot a MONSTER Buck start putting in for a buck fraw tag in units 45 and 52 Bennett Hills area. I have seen several 190" bucks in that area! Let me know if you have any other ?'s.
