Hey Beej
Hope the south is treating you well. With all that has been going on in my crazy life, I haven't submitted the story yet. In fact I have my conclusion to finish up on. Although I was never a big fan of Sports Afield, they were hard up for the story, but they have since gone under new ownership and am not sure if the name on the mag is changing or what. I need to get with them. My absolute favorite rag is Big Game Adventures. I'll be shooting the story to them along with never before seen pics (except for Dan...he has seen them all). This being the one year anniversary, I would like to have it to them by the end of the month, so I'll keep you posted.

You being a newly wed and all, I guess you haven't figured out who really is boss in a marriage. If I skipped town now to go hunting I wouldn't ever hear the end of it. My wife carries a big whip!

You'll have to settle for reading my version. Ted has done numerous interviews, I don't do interviews, and as I told you before, not one writer/journalist has gotten the facts straight as of yet. My story is more creative and to me is much more enjoying then the latte-da stuff I have seen so far. So assuming we are talking about the same bear you'll have to keep your eyes peeled. Forget what you heard other people say and wait for the facts. BTW, you never did say who your sources were.

Your story is perfect for Big Game adventures. If you need help getting it published there I'll do what I can. You'll see my byline in there on a bear hunting story next month by the way. I hope they buy it from you. Good luck. Sports Afield, by the way, is no more. A dead end I'm afraid. Just remember, the story is getting older every day, so don't delay.
