Default 1,000lb Pig in Mississippi?

A few weeks ago I guy overheard us talking about pigs, and asked if we'd heard of a 1,000lb pig killed in MS. From what he'd said, we assumed he meant a wild/feral hog. Anybody else heard this? It sounds kinds large, but I know there are some really big ones out there.

I used to raise sows when I was in FFA. Had one old girl that was around 650lbs and she was absolutely HUGE. Not fat, but HUGE. A 1000lb hog would weigh as much as a steer and would most likely have to be extremely fat. Not saying that someone didn`t shoot a pig that big, but I would need to see the photo.

BTM...LMAO!

Did you hear that Rosie O'donnel went to the doctor. The doctor told her to take her clothes off and lay on the floor. She did. He then told her to lay over there. She did. He then told her to lay over there. She did. He then told her to lay over there. She did.

After laying almost everywhere in the room, she asked the doctor why he was making her do that.

He replied that he was buying a new white couch and wanted to see where it would look best.

LOL

Blain...is that you? If so, I'm shocked not to see a shotgun in your hands. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I would have to see a pic of a 1000lb wild boar. I have hunted and killed between 35 and 40 wild boar but never seen anything that would even come close to 1000lb's. 625lb would be the top and I saw that one on the scale, a buddy of mine took it with a rifle in 99.

That's a nice hog in the picture, I guess somewhere between 500-650, but not even close to a grand. Good Luck. Capt Brad.
