If you've got a photo of your boar, please post it. I'd like to see what a 23-7/8 hog looks like.

Here is the skull, the tusk are not pulled out any, they are set like they were when I killed it. This one is from South Florida.
This is a buddy of mine from Cali. He killed this pig in Northern Ca. This one goes 650lbs, I was not on the hunt with him but I did get to score it, he scores 23 5/8

just came back from the sportsmens show in pomona ca.,an outfit from washington state had a full mount of an 850# boar , plus many pictures of others around the same size, it looked like a short hereford cow, they told me that the pigs are selectively bred for size. this pig was as big as my last elk usahunter

As I said that's a beautiful hog. I seen one a few years back (a boar on a farm (domesticated) a farmer said would go a thousand. He was very impressive. I'm not a farmer, but I don't think that hog would go a grand, 8-900 maybe, but not a grand. The kicker is that hog can go to the watertrough and gain 60# easy. Make no mistake. That's still a nice hog in that picture. I think the link said 500+#. A lot of grinding to do. Good Luck. Capt Brad.
