I've seen a photon of a 900+ lb hog that was killed. This was a real wild boar, no domestic pig either. Was a true beast, couldn't believe it. I'll try to find that pic again.

That'sa big hog, but not 1,500 lbs. for sure. Deliwakers bear was much bigger and weighed less. That pig is around 700-900 lbs at the most I would estimate. I have seen a 950 lb hog and it puts that one to shame.

the pic of the hog killed in texas is really questionable. several people questioned its weight but the people were extremely evasive and had nothing to show but the pics. look at the size as to how the man and the hog compare to things around the. very questionable!

While the purported 1500# hog looked big
to people like me who had never seen a big
wild hog, it did not to people who were
here last summer like Hogguide. All the
people who hunted hogs with regularity
dismissed it as 750 at most.

I actrually have a pic of the boar from Mississippi. It is a clipping from a newspaper that a guy I tlk to in anothe rforum sent me thru the mail. I would post it but my scanner port is down and I cant use it.
It was reported in the paper to weigh 800lbs..
From my experience at seeing several boar that have weighed from 350-1100 pounds , both domestic and wild....This one from Mississippi is the real deal. It looked like a "Bar" or castrated boar..it had a lot of fat but i am sure it weighed every bit of 800 pounds. And it made 2 of the "Texas FAke" that was reported to weigh 1100 pounds..LAUGH LAUGH!!

HERES THE PIC!!!!!!
I found it on a disk and uploaded it.
as you can see it has a lot of fat on it which makes me believe it is either a sow or a BAR but either way that is alot of pork!!
