any body having any fun chasing bulls out there what are they doing,i've always chased them with a bow or muzzle loader season and this year we are going out first rifle.it really getting to me i can't take it any more,i just want to hear a bugle.i got everything packed and just waiting till the the oct. 8 and i am own my way.

I've got 2 cow tags, and all I've been seeing are bulls. They've been kinda quiet, though. Not much bugling in my area. Elk are all over the place here in the Gunnison Basin. They were mainly up around treeline, but cooler temps and some decent rain and snow have spread them out a bit, and increased their activity some. I'm headed out first thing in the morning to go see what they're up to. Only a couple of weeks now...
