Well this is my first year to go out in to the amazing rockies and hopefuly bring down a nice size bull for the first time. Well i recently purchased a nice browning 7mm for this coming season, but i am not sure what grain bullet i should be using this season, if anyone could help me out i would really appreciate it,,,

In my 7mm I usually use 175 gr partitions but last year I grabbed 150 gr partitions by mistake and killed an elk with them. They worked fine and shoot flatter so I'm sticking with the 150's. My hunting partner has a 7mm and has always shot 150's.

I almost forgot, I handload all my shells and Federal to my knowledge doesn't make a 150 partition. So I would use the 160 partition from Federal.
