Elk hunting in Salmon, Idaho
Any of you great elk hunters hunted around the Salmon area of Idaho. More specifically units 21,21A,28,36B.
If so, anything great coming out of that area? Good population of elk? Better areas than others there to hunt? Any tips?
Usually I hunt the Sawtooth region, but going to try Salmon area this year. Your input is greatly appreciated.

I have archeryhunted those units in the past but its been a few years. From what I understand the wolves are in there thick now. I have hunted even more in the lemhi zone units, but they have recieved a lot of pressure from hunters the last few years and the wolves are in there as well. Where are you from?
