O.K..Now I understand what your saying....
I don't hunt anything other than the big Game I've mentioned
and just started recently hunting coyotes......i've shot a handful,
thats it...
My dad did alot of duck and goose hunting while I was growing
up..Couldn't stand the meat[:'(][:'(]
I was about 10 years old and I tagged along with my dad and some freinds of his on anightflight....You know when you shoot at ducks just before atdusk tilldark.I witnessed him shoot and recover 4
and loose some maybe 3 or4 more.....Some other members lost some as well..We all went back the next day and found 17 more laying around the shore..That either he or his freinds shot at and thought they missed...This doesn't include the number of ducks the coyotes found over the night..
He sold his shotgun and never introduced us to that hunting......
Effort was made to recover the birds but you are right lots get shot wounded and don't get recovered..And lots suffer for days before they fall victom....
But that is one of the reasons this practice was instilled in me.
