I've never Spot & Stalked a single elk!! Everyone has been found by the use of calls. Whether I was using Call & Stalk, or sitting wallows or between feeding & bedding areas, or running & gunning. When you know what you're saying & what they're saying it becomes much easier to use any call you choose with confidence!!

Depends on the time of year, I like to call and blow my head off at times or sound like a lost calf or a cow looking for the calf or a lot of cows, but also like to stalk and mix it up and some other times I've just sit and shut up and wait for em to come in toa waddle also. Good luck.
