I am another who did not renew any membership because of them sending stuff I did not order and demanding I pay for these items. This is not a club it is a clearinghouse!!!!!

I am a NAHC Life Member, and they have always been more than fair with me. Good luck.

I agree with oldelkhunter. Buckmasters and NAHC are both rip offs.

I have always felt like when I send these guys (Jackie and Bill) money it is to support their hunting. I have never belonged to Buckmasters Jackie Bushman (spelling?) has never impressed me. I am a life member of the NRA, and serve on the committee of my local DU chapter as well as belong to the NWTF sometimes I wonder about what they do with all their money as well. but as long as someting is going back into the environment it is OK with me.

I'm a life member of NAHC and have been for some time now with no problems. Have not won anything of great value from them. I have used there swap hunt a few times and made good friends with a guy in Wy. If it wasn't for the NAHC we would have never meet! So I have to give NAHC a thumbs up. car

car, I agree that the hunters using the the NAHC are great just as here anywhere that brings hunters together is a good thing, I was unable to re up or I would still be a member "ONLY" for the fact that I was able to communicate with other hunters I could give a Rats a_ _ about there offers I also became friends with guys on there message board and when they told me that they were unable to get me to sign on because of a lapse in my membership It was like someone jerked my friends from me So I am not happy with them. Although I am glad it is working for some folks.

I have never had a problem, got a life membership about 3-4 years ago and received everything they promised. Have even got to field test a couple things. I like the magazine, it was probably the main reason I got the life membership.
Same here .
Their customer service can be a bit spotty from what I've heard , but it's a good group of folks and you can't beat the subscription price . Name another hunting mag you can get for life for $300 .

I too had the same problem. Many years ago I was a member and then went to become a life member thru their payment plan.
Seemed like every week I was getting tapes, books, video's and a bunch more crap I didn't want and had to send back every week.
I called many times to have them stop sending crap and they never did.
I returned thier Bomber Jacket and belt buckle along with a certified letter stating to stop sending crap and any further crap sent would not be returned.
They kept sending me crap and finally someone called and I faxed them a copy of the letter and received no more crap.
There material was out dated and becoming redundent.
The local Hunting and Fishing News is all I do now.
