I have 3 cuddebacks that take D batteries and I just got a new Cuddeback Ambush and it takes AA batteries.

Finally had a bird show up on the farm south of my house. Had him, a hen, and 3 jakes, but we don't shoot jakes and I won't let DTC Jr shoot one either.

Went out this morning hunting with a buddy of mine, as his buddy, sharing a permit. He shot a bird at 8:00 am, so our hunt was over.

Good news is, the bird he shot had another gobbler with him. I checked my camera and the same bird showed up again, in a different area, and on the way out we located another bird.
So I have 3 good options, in 3 different areas for in the morning.
