South Dakota, I do believe that you are still on Team 16. There was a little bit of confusion b/c JW sent 2 alternates to us, but I believe he moved the other guy to Team 17.

I saw three of them on the other side of the field.I crept up on them.I cut them offand crouched on a mound of dirt inside the tree line. The hens walked by first followed by the gobbler. The only shot I had was through briars and I took it. Bushwacked...

Ill pull some pics from my video footage, but we passed a neighboring farm to our best turkey hunting farm, there were over 100 turkey in the field. over 15 full fan toms strutting with dozens more jakes. It was a sight to see. They were only 500 yards give or take from where we hunt. Once they break out of this winter flock, we will be covered up in turkey.
On a different note, Im leavin for TN opener in the morning, wish me luck.
Congrats Bubahoo, that is one sweet bird. Do you hunt private or public down there? Im thinkin hard on givin those LA birds a run for their money within the next few years.
