I have heard so much about mock scrapes this year over the next few days there are a couple area's I will be making some mock scrapes and see what happens. I will let you all know what happens in this evening's hunt.

Nice sit this evening. I saw one on my way in to the stand then around 6:15 I had a 1 1/2 old 6 point teasing me but I didn't bite, lol. That was it for the evening. Next time out will be Monday evening. I did make 2 mock scrapes by my stand. I will be curious if the bucks start to hit them. I am going to make a couple more mock scrapes on Monday morning.

This week I will be trying to get out Monday evening, Tuesday morning and evening, Wednesday morning, and Thursday and Saturday evenings. I am going to make a couple more mock scrapes after work this morning. Unfortunately, after making 4 mock scrapes I will only be able to put a camera on one of them cause I only have 1 camera.

By the way, my annual hunting vacation starts after I work Friday night the 24th. I then don't go back to work until Friday night the 14th of November. BooYah!!!!!

I got some pics of a new buck. He looks pretty cool. Probably not a big scoring buck but I might consider shooting him if he gives me an opportunity. Here he is.
