Nice looking couple of Bucks Mottz.
My Dad's trail cam had 3 possible shooters. They are definitely shedding their velvet now. We did go and look at another property that' coming up for auction. It's going to be auctioned off in a couple of weeks. Were heading back out in 3 weeks to hang some stands and do some more scouting. I don't have any shooters on trail cam yet, but I'm picky.

We had some good, heavy rains come our way over the weekend. So I took to the deer woods today & found a ton of fresh sign & jumped a couple of big does bedding on the ridge where I put in two new sets back in July. I couldn't be more ready for the season to open. 27 days & counting.

Season opens October 1st this year for NY. This is a welcome change as it used to be around the 15th.
Motz,
Those are some nice pics! Too bad about the trespasser.

As for me volunteering for capt., I did so because for the last few years that I've participated, our team captains didn't do much in leading a team, instigating conversation or even checking in more than once or twice every couple of weeks. And when I would take the time to check in daily & see that the capt. didn't, I just figured I'd be a better team capt.

Anyways, lets see some trail cam pics fellas.
I'm on board with all of the above. (I like the name!...shoot a heavy arrow to guarantee that pass thru). You participated on the board a lot last year so it makes sense to make you captain.
As far as the Doe thread that captains will decide, I vote 25 points for 1 doe per hunter (No rules on shooting before or after a buck). I think it's a nice way to have a hunter participate that is holding out for bigger horns.

Welcome to the team Jared, great to have ya checked in. Congrats on the upcoming youngin. Is it a son or a daughter & is it your first?

And thanks for the vote of confidence Jason, I'll do my best. As for the doe issue, I'm all for adding some bonus points to our final score.
How do yall feel about doe harvests being accepted in the contest?

Everyone who's already checked in, please make an effort to drop a few lines here on a regular basis please. With that said, yall have a good one, I'm off to get some work done.
