I haven't had as much time to get cameras out this year as i would like and i like to stay out of my best places as much as possible, but for me that can be difficult sometimes. I have one on camera that i am on the fence with. Hes a beautiful 8 but i think next year he could be a dandy. The problem is around here the chances he'll make it to next year is slim to none.

wow risner that is about a perfect 8. Its always a tough decision whether to let them go or not when you know others will likely take him anyway. I have that problem here too, just in my county alone the state gave out about 200 any deer tags and the tribe gave out over 700 any deer between out of staters and tribal members and non-tribal members, so hunting pressure is enormous and i have to ask myself the same question alot. "what are the odds of him making it another year".

He hangs out in a really small patch of woods right now so if im going to take him it will have to be early or he will be gone looking for hunnies.
