Well, they got the best of me again today. Alot of gobblin but didn't see any for awhile. Then I seen 4 in the distance so I tried to make a move to them and when I came over the hill there were about 12 to 15. And they all seen me. They weren't suppose to be there. Still have alot of time left so I'm not giving up quite yet

Well guys, first time in 3 years my son failed to kill one opening day. They had one come off the roost late around 8am. Very weird morning both my neighbor and I each had 4 gobblers in the areas we picked out. I never heard a bird so I shifted to my second spot early at 7 and never heard anything there. Anyway, they chased the bird and actually got him about 45yds away but couldn't get a clear shot. Next weekend he will try again.

Hey this is watkins reporting.I took 2 opening morning april first.one went 16pnds and sported a 6 and a half inch beard with no spurs and the other 14pnds with a5 and a half inch beard and no spurs I will have the pics ready to down load tonight if some one would let me know were i need to send them.good luck and safe hunting to every one. I had a good morning but it didnt start that way I blew my first bird off the roost as i was crossing the food plot.I set up any for an hour then decided that that i was better off going to my back up place which worked out realy well there were 3 birds in the area but the to younger toms made it to me before the other one. but it was still a great experince

Good Job! Nice to hear about your success! One way to get your photos on here is to get a photobucket account(free) and download it to that. And then take the url address of the pic from there and copy it and then post it on here.
