Hey Team, I am taking DTC Jr to TX in the morning for youth season on Saturday. There are alot of birds there, it should be alot of fun. Hope to have pics and a story when I get home Sunday night.

Will be heading out tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can get there. They are calling for about an inch of rain or so today and I have alot of gravel roads to get down to get to my spot.

I figured that the rain today would push them to the fields and out in the open but nope.
I just got soaked scouting!!!

Seen a couple strutters across a creek but I just could not get them to cross. So it was a pretty slow day. Did see alot of deer in bow range. Too bad it wasn't deer season. Hopefully this year isn't a repeat of last year otherwise it is going to be a long year.

Just got hom from my turkey hunt in TX. I killed this bird Saturday morning. He weighed 19 lbs, 9" beard, and 1 1/8" spurs.

I am sure ready for season. Youth season in MO opens a week from Saturday and DTC Jr is ready. Of course with pics like these who isn't ready?
