Actually Mottz you are wrong. I am taking DTC Jr to Texas this weekend for the youth season, we will be set up on some rios Saturday morning.

Well if I didn't have to work I'd be out on Thursday for the opener. And the wife always seems to know when the 1st weekend of the season is so she always has plans fo that Saturday which makes me have to wait til Sunday. Good Luck to you and Jr. Hope to see some success pics and a good story or two!

Ya.. IL splits their turkey "season" up into five individual seasons. I think each one is 5 days long.. They also have different dates to hunt depending on where you live, they have a north and south zone with different dates.

I live in the southern zone and will be hunting 2nd season and 5th season. I'll take the wife out 3rd season.
