I bought a bergara .243 barrel for my encore frame and it was loose, even with a 1X hinge pin. Returned the barrel for a replacement and same problem. The locking bolt is loose in the lug slot, so I don't see how it would ever fit properly. The Bellm website discusses this issue and ways to fix. He also mentions the inspection and corrections he makes to the barrels he sells which should not be needed if quality in the first place. The plastic encore forearm didn't fit properly and on the first barrel the screws could not be started into the holes without stripping. Also, the ejector has spring tension which scraches the shell case and makes it very difficult to remove.

Just receive a TC barrel and everything fit perfectly. Haven't shot it yet though.
