thanks. i'm really surprised i pulled the trigger. even my wife said "wow, i'm surprised you shot it" when i opened the tail gate on the truck
it's not like i'm a trophy hunter that gets a big buck every year. i usually just go for 2.5 yr old 8pts or better, even if it means eating my tag. so, to shoot a 1.5 yr old 8 days into the season caught even me by surprise. he just sat there at 5 yards eating acorns, just taunting me! I couldn't resist no matter how hard i tried

congrats rackluster, maybe this will help get the rest of us fired up. Went this morning coyotas busted up a couple of bucks that where headed my way. Last time she will do that stuck a arrow in her today.

rackluster, congrats. all those inches add up, it's the tag soup that doesn't do much.
